Deadline Approaches for ALA Scholarship Applications

ALA has announced that April 1 is application deadline for its Spectrum Initiative scholarships. The Spectrum Initiative (spectrum@ala.org) is ALA's three-year program intended to increase diversity in librarianship. The $5,000 scholarships will allow students from ethnic groups underrepresented in the field to attend an ALA-recognized master's degree program in library and information studies.
