March 2 is Read Across America Day

Dr. Seuss's birthday--March 2--will be celebrated with "Read Across America Day," a national reading campaign spearheaded by the National Education Association. NEA, and other participating organizations, including ALA, are advocating that all children read a book the evening of March 2.
