Telecom Discount Web Site Open for Business

Librarians now have access to the Web site (www.slcfund.org) that provides applications for telecommunications discounts from the Schools and Libraries Corporation (SLC), an arm of the Federal Communications Commission.
The site, which last week experienced delays, provides application materials and suggestions on how to fill out the application online. The SLC announced February 4 that the source of the delays had been identified and would be fixed. Paper copies of the form are available by calling 1-888-203-8100 or by fax at 1-888-276-8736.
