Math Matters Online

Staff -- School Library Journal, 10/1/2001

Grolier has assembled a free online workbook that complements its 13-volume Math Matters! reference set. "Teachers do not need the print version to make the workbook worthwhile," says Grolier's Heather Matthews, noting the workbook can stand on its own and offers a range of material for elementary through high school math classes. The 268-page workbook contains about 400 word problems, from addition to algebra. Here's how it works: after going to www.publishing.grolier.com, users select "Librarian," followed by "Grolier Educational Catalog," and then the icon for the Math Matters Workbook. When the workbook opens, users will find a table of contents. There, they just click on the desired topic and grade level to find what they need.
