Scholastic Names New Head of Children's Press

Staff -- School Library Journal, 6/1/2002

Kate Nunn, editorial director of Benchmark Books, has been named editor-in-chief of Scholastic's Grolier nonfiction imprints, Children's Press and Franklin Watts. The imprints' books, which cater to the school, library, and trade markets, include series such as America the Beautiful and Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists.

Nunn spent the last seven years growing Benchmark's business. Before that, she held editorial positions at Millbrook Press and Chelsea House Publishers.
