PBS to Air 'Freedom'

Freedom: A History of US, a 16-part television series based on Joy Hakim's popular book series on American history for young people, will air on PBS in January. Oxford University Press has released a companion volume to the PBS series, which features a star-studded cast, including Julia Roberts, Robin Williams, and Reese Witherspoon. The original 10-volume book series, A History of US (Oxford, 1995), has sold more than four million copies.
