Hail to the Librarian

One more media specialist has been named "Teacher of the Year." This time, Deborah Burney Hadley, a preK–5 school librarian at Lucas Elementary School in Fort Campbell, KY, was selected among 8,800 teachers in 224 schools on military bases worldwide. Hadley, who represents the Department of Defense Dependent Schools, joins librarian Elspeth Corrigan Moore, who was named New Jersey's state Teacher of the Year (see December 2002, News , p. 19).
