The tragic and woeful lives of the three Baudelaire orphans will be coming to the big screen in late 2004. Actors Meryl Streep, Jude Law, and Jim Carrey will star in the film version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (HarperCollins). Streep will play Aunt Josephine opposite Carrey (the sinister Count Olaf), and Law (Lemony Snicket) will narrate the film. Daniel Handler (above) uses the pen name Lemony Snicket.
