Painful Reading

Some Harry Potter fans may be getting too much of a good thing. A pediatrician reports that several young patients have developed "Hogwarts headaches" and neck strain after reading the 870-page Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for up to eight hours a day. In a letter to the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Howard Bennett, of Washington, DC, says he encourages children to continue reading the book, "but to take a break periodically."

Dr. Seuss Goes Postal

The U.S. Postal Service has unveiled a new 37-cent stamp featuring the beloved children's book author Theodor Geisel, otherwise known as Dr. Seuss.
