Songs of a Librarian

Comment
on this article

Who would of thought Tori Amos had a soft spot for librarians? The songstress released Tales of a Librarian, a two-disk, best-of CD and DVD collection in November 2003, arranged as a cataloged package with all of the songs classified by Dewey decimal number. "Sweet Dreams," for example, a new song that appears critical of President Bush, is given the number and subject heading "973.938: History of North America—Politics of Illusion."

A Chat With Rowling

Some lucky kids in the U.K. will finally have a chance to have an online chat with Harry Potter creator J. K. Rowling. The author will answer 12 "special questions" submitted by British children as part of the World Book Day Online Festival on March 4, 2004. British children's book authors Debi Gliori and Anthony Horowitz will also take part, and all of the author chats will be transcribed on the Web site. To find out more information, visit www.worldbookdayfestival.com.
