By Staff -- School Library Journal, 9/1/2004

Lerner Publishing Group has acquired The Millbrook Press and Twenty-First Century Books, two imprints that target the school and public library market. Created in 1991, Millbrook focuses on the K–6 nonfiction market, and Twenty-First Century specializes in nonfiction for grades seven and up. The two imprints plan to launch 100 new titles in 2005, bringing Lerner's total of new titles to more than 400.
