Celebrate Children's Book Week

By Staff -- School Library Journal, 10/1/2004

Join thousands of schools, libraries, and booksellers in celebrating the joy of reading during Children's Book Week from November 15–21. As part of the festivities, children's books and the celebration of the written word will be observed through storytelling, parties, author and illustrator visits, and other book-related events. Illustrator Chris Raschka conveys the joy of books in the official Children's Book Week poster. The event is sponsored by the Children's Book Council.
