Clinton Library Opens

By Staff -- School Library Journal, 1/1/2005

With a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, a saxophone exhibit, and an authentic presidential limo, the recently opened $160 million William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, AR, is a great resource for kids and teachers. The 20,000-square-foot library and museum offers free daily tours for K–12 students and will soon offer lesson plans, teacher resources, and interactive learning programs including "Dinner at the White House." Clinton, who was joined by President George W. Bush and former President Jimmy Carter, spoke November 19 at the official opening of the library, which drew nearly 30,000 people.
