'The Anybodies' to Hit the Big Screen

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have acquired screen rights to The Anybodies (HarperCollins, 2004), the bestselling children's book written by N. E. Bode (the pen name of Julianna Baggott) and illustrated by Peter Ferguson. The first installment in a planned trilogy, The Anybodies follows the bizarre adventures of 11-year-old heroine Fern, a rare breed of human with the power to change shape. The sequel, The Nobodies, is scheduled for release in 2005.
