Celebrate Libraries

By Staff -- School Library Journal, 3/1/2005

Libraries nationwide are gearing up for National Library Week, April 10–16, by offering the public a range of fun activities and events. This year's theme is "Something for Everyone @ your library." The celebration, which honors the contributions of libraries and library workers, includes an observance of National Library Workers Day on April 12. Launched in 1958, the weeklong festivity is an annual observance by the American Library Association.
