E. B. White Gone Wild

The Association of American Booksellers has announced the winner of the 2005 E. B. White Read Aloud Award: Wild About Books (Knopf, 2004), written by Judy Sierra and illustrated by Marc Brown. The rhymed story describes the adventures of Molly the librarian, who teaches zoo animals to read. She gives tall books to giraffes, joke books to hyenas, and "she even found waterproof books for the otter—who never went swimming without Harry Potter."
