St. Lifer Departs SLJ

After four years as SLJ's Editor-in-Chief, Evan St. Lifer left his position June 2 to become vice president and general manager of Scholastic Library Publishing. During his tenure at SLJ, St. Lifer helped create the award-winning Curriculum Connections and produced the first SLJ Leadership Summit in March 2005, among other accomplishments. "Since arriving at SLJ, my overarching mission has always been to move libraries to the center of education," says St. Lifer. "This next chapter in my professional career allows me a tremendous opportunity to continue to pursue that mission and to help make it a reality."
