Saved by the Bell: Sixty Second Tech Tips - Podcasting for Everyone!

If your school or public library is like mine, most of the computers are PCs. Seems to make sense because these are cheaper. Unfortunately, it also means you can't create podcasts. Podcasts make for snazzy presentations, allow for greater options for multimedia integration, and give students and teens the opportunity to share some fun recordings. Enter, ODEO.
ODEO is an audio and information sharing tool. You simply need to create a free account and begin recording. ODEO gives you the option to assign the podcast a name and description, attach a Web link and put your own original audio or other recorded audio (Mp3, and others).
ODEO then creates a unique web address for your podcast with a link and an RSS Feed link. You can also personalize your podcast link with an image and language preferences. I made a very quick one; it took less than five minutes to complete and now you have a picture of me at Arches National Park (UT). Only caveat is that you will need to download Adobe Flash Player. Happy casting!
