Starting a new school year can be super stressful, but this cool site is just the thing for middle and high schoolers. Topics include time management, dealing with a teacher who doesn’t seem to like you, and tons of advice from other kids on avoiding test stress, meeting new kids, and dealing with embarrassing situations. There are links to online puzzles and quizzes in each section. Try playing the “School Daze Crazy Maze”—it’s a real challenge (and will bring back some of the feelings of stress and confusion that we older folks had when we were in school). “Offline Activities” include printable journal pages, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Librarians and teachers will love the class discussion questions, as well as the lists of recommended books for kids. Finally, don’t forget to preview the three online videos about embarrassing moments, cheating, and time management—they make super back-to-school introductions to these important topics.
