Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Award

Calling all high school seniors! The SAMMY Scholarship Awards deadline is drawing near. If you know a student-athlete that would love to win a $7500 college scholarship and a spot in a Milk Mustache ad, this is for them. Twenty-five winners will also get an all-expense-paid trip to Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida to celebrate and rub shoulders with sports greats like Mia Hamm, Tony Hawk and Andy Roddick.As part of the nomination form, student-athletes are required to write an essay of no more than 250 words about “How Milk Has Helped in My Academics and/or Athletics.” The application deadline is March 6, 2009. The SAMMY awards are co-sponsored by USA Today and the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board.
