Heartspring Award for Innovation and Creativity in Special Education

Heartspring, a worldwide center for children with special needs based in Wichita, Kansas, has announced the availability of the 2009 Heartspring Award for Innovation and Creativity in Special Education. This award honors professionals who get results for children with special needs using creative measures. In its eleventh year, the Heartspring Award attracts nominations from around the world, and continually seeks “explorers, pioneers, risk-takers, and innovators“ with new ideas for serving children with special needs.Winners will receive $1,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Heartspring’s Creativity in Special Education summer session, taking place from July 22 - July 25, 2009.
