Play with a Purpose 2009: Games and Simulations in Libraries

Want to get involved in some serious fun? Submit a proposal to participate in “Play with a Purpose 2009: Games and Simulations in Libraries,”a conference designed to bring together practitioners and researchers working with games or simulations in library settings. Attendees are invited to share their experiences, present research, and learn best practices.
The conference theme includes both electronic and nonelectronic games and simulations. The conference will be held at Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY, September 30–October 2. Proposals for submitted papers, workshops, and poster or demonstration sessions are due by June 1. Co-sponsored by Syracuse University School of Information Studies, Genesee Valley BOCES in Western New York, and Strong National Museum of Play.
