Verizon Foundation Grants

As part of its mission to improve lives in “literacy, knowledge, and a readiness for the 21st century”, the Verizon Foundation invites 501(c)(3) organizations and elementary and secondary schools seeking grants to apply for funding all year round. With its goal of increasing literacy and educational achievement, the Verizon Foundation is putting down the red carpet for libraries! Its Web site includes lots of resources that will be helpful to first-time grant seekers.
