Children's Services Director Anne Connor has been promoted to assistant director of the Central Library at the Los Angeles Public Library.
Margaret Tice has been appointed coordinator of children's services for the branch libraries of the New York Public Library. Tice previously served as coordinator of community youth services at the Queens Borough Public Library.
ObituaryAuthor Eleanor Clymer, 95, died on March 31 in Haverford, PA. Between 1943 and 1983, Clymer wrote 58 books, mostly for elementary school children.
