Safari® Books Online Website

Safari® Books Online just launched their new website, and it’s got some interesting features, including What’s New, with new releases of titles and products, Hot Titles, and Meet the Authors, with author interviews. These features are free to visitors, but what’s REALLY nice here is that you can also register for an individual trial and get immediate access to all the content on the site. There are forms for corporate and academic trials, too, but the individual trial is a very smart feature other vendors would do well to add to their sites – since it’s hard to urge that your library obtain something sight unseen, and getting an institutional trial can be… a real trial.
This freebie site is worth taking a look at if you're providing technical or business reference service.
