Critical mass--a 2.0 share fest?
October 30, 2007

My colleague Ken and I are responsible for planning a tech inservice for next Tuesday.

I've been pretty involved with the AASL conf and some other projects and I worried about planning this one.  While riding the shuttle, it occurred to me that we might be reaching critical mass in our building.

We don't have to do it all anymore.  And it's best that we don't.

We could ask all the teachers we've been working with to share their own 2.0 projects--what worked, what didn't work, what they'd do better/differently next time around.

Everyone we asked said yes.  We're covering use of iGoogle, interactive galleries of student work, digital storytelling (in Spanish), online video tutorials, polling, blogs, podcasts, and wikis.

If it works, it will be a veritable 2.0 share fest.  I'll keep you posted.
