State Databases Commercial in GoAnimate
October 3, 2008

My fabulous student teacher Kate and I returned from our state database training pondering how we might better promote the amazing resources of the ACCESS PA POWER Library.  We also happened to be exploring the capabilities of GoAnimate, the souped up cartoon generator.  We dragged our ever-willing building sub (another Kate) in on the fun.  And voila!

I think both Kates did a fine job and we're planning more commercials using this and other tools.  We can send the links around in email, embed the video as a widget in our wikis and blogs.

Joyce, this was wonderful! I need to try to do this for our databases. I did create a GoAnimate video on how we help find books for those who don't like to read very much. I posted it on TeacherLibrarianNing. It's called Hate to read? Ask your librarian for help! It's basic!!

I love your commercial for databases and I posted the link on my library orientation wiki. I happened to be talking with my Gale rep and told him about it. He asked me to send it to him and when I did, he liked it so much he shared it with his entire team! Your fame and talents are growing, ladies! Thanks so much.
