Food Fight

My colleague Ken Rodoff just pointed me to the most amazing stop-action video.  Food Fight: An Abridged History of War, by Stefan Nadelman, illustrates major conflicts in recent world history with ethnic foods. 

Your students (and your social studies teachers) will love it.  So ripe for analysis and argument!  A tasty, if bitter, treat!

Isn't it interesting? I thought about including it in one of my Video Sundays, but decided that on some issues it was too one-sided. Definitely controversial stuff, but thought-provoking indeed.

That was definitely interesting...I understand that ads need to be shown to keep the site free,but my ad was for Grand Theft Auto IV - I don't know about that...
