Curly hair: a conference documentary
May 2, 2008

At conferences you will find conversations directly related to the critical issues at hand. You will also find subtext.

For those of us with curly hair, this subtext has become a sisterhood, an underground network.

How do you look good no matter what you hair has planned for you?  Can you ever be in control?

In a world where product rules,  . . .

Interesting video. I have curly hair and I am faithful to Paul Mitchell's Super Sculpt - the one with the green apple on the bottle. It is getting harder to find and it never comes in travel sizes so I have to buy little bottles to take it with me. Can't live without it. Linda Fox School Library System Director from Albany NY

Love it! And then there are those of us with curly, thick, coarse hair who don't want to spend anytime on it! Headbands, folks, headbands.

Especially for travelers, check out the solid shampoos at Lush. com. I really love the Godiva one, because it smells wonderful and leaves my hair shiny and tangle-free!

Joyce - I am one of your curly headed sisters. After going with the natural look for many years, I have just started blowing my hair dry for a smoother look. The funny thing is - to get the look I want, I have to use a CURLING IRON!!! As for product, I use John Frieda's Frizz Ease Wind Down, which is also sometimes hard to find. With so many people needing these products, why are they so hard to locate?
