When students speak.

March 19, 2009 I love this simple but eloquent plea from a California high school sophomore about what library means to her, or what a library void would mean to her.

A look at what morning looks like in so many of our libraries from today's Tracy Press.

Student voices are especially powerful.  Natalie's message brought me back to Dan Jones from last April in Harrisburg.

There is a metaphor here; I could not view your embedded video due to school filters; we DO seem to find ways to silence our students...

The young man is so eloquent and has such a nice command of his facts....Is there a future librarian here? Future Dept. of Ed. or ALA president? I think all school administrators should view this video. He makes the points cogently and really hits the mark.
