New AASL Task Force--Ideas?

November 16, 2007
I am honored to be chairing the new AASL 2.0 Task Force--a wonderful, very smart group of people.

Our task is “to scan the 2.0 environment for effective participation by AASL, develop guidelines for and create an AASL 2.0 presence, and make recommendations for its continuity.”

We welcome your ideas to guide the work of our committee and the future of the organization. What's your vision? How would you like to see AASL be more 2.0?

Comment, please.

How about AASL setting up monthly skypecasts dealing with different school library issues that anyone can join?

One of the biggest impediments I have is filtering and how to convince the powers that be that the benefits outweigh the concerns. Implementation is going to be a big issue.
