Just a few more things to add to our growing list of applied things.

6. Begin your own Ning for social networking
. Create one for your state organization, your faculty, your PTA, your high school reunion organizing committee. Use some of these examples as models:

7. Do a survey.  Embed one on your site or your wiki or your blog.  Learn about reading habits, learning needs, hot titles. Help your students learn about original research and good question design.  Some cool new resources include:

8. Attend a workshop or a conference online. Use a webcast speech or workshop to inspire an inservice or to enhance a curriculum.  You don’t really have to spend lots of money on hotel and airfare to be inspired by professional wisdom.  You can bring wonderful speakers into your library and classrooms.
