Video Sunday - Last of 2007 Edition December 30, 2007
I was on vacation until recently (cat and niece are well, thank you) and so my abundant videos are not necessarily on hand. Still, there were a couple links I discovered mere moments before taking off in that jet plane. This first one comes from Children's Illustration and it is an ideal video to watch if you are interested in real-life automatons like the one that appears in The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
So cool. This second video is an interview between Robert Sabuda and, bafflingly, The Wall Street Journal. I was particularly pleased with his mention of his upcoming project.
I've two posts that couldn't be embedded on this site but that are worth discovering. Educating Alice linked to the new Coraline sneak preview not too long ago. A tip of the hat there.
And finally, the new book trailer for Libba Bray's The Sweet Far Thing has just been released. Check out that cast and crew. My husband knows the director of the film, and I hope this indicates the direction in which all future book trailers will go.

That automaton is so neat! It's pretty amazing that it writes poetry. I love it. You come up with the best videos, Betsy! And it's great to see Libba Bray's book video; it's so well done.
