Fusenews: In My Heart and In My Hand, Why Don't People Understand My Intentions?

Oh man, oh man. Check out what Collecting Children's Books just found in the stacks. It's the oddest trend in children's book publishing I have ever heard of. Care to check out a monosyllabic version of Robinson Crusoe? Peter was sorely tempted to write his entire post in words of one syllable, but gave up after the first sentence. I admire his intentions just the same. Sometimes I feel like my own posts can essentially be reduced down to, "Bah? Gah!". Oh, and while you're on his site, check out his post on phantom books. You know, those elusive volumes that sometimes get as far as sending out ARCs and then mysteriously disappear without a trace. Peter has an eye on a Louise Fitzhugh postumous title that looks particularly interesting.

Yay yay yay, it's Free Comic Book Day. It only comes but once a year, so find yourself a local retailer willing to give out the goods and go to it. Read, my pretties, READ!

Editor Cheryl Klein shoots the poop (so to speak) on what she likes to see in an artist's portfolio. Dinosaurs. All she wants to see are dinosaurs.... nah, I'm kidding. And Cheryl, if you start getting a million dinosaur submissions, totally not my fault.
Crooked House found today's daily visual and boy is it purdy. It comes from one Mr. Peter Callesen. Enjoy.
