Video Sunday - If I Had a Llama, I'd Llama in the Morning May 4, 2008
Got a couple goodies for you this fine and frisky day. Recently I discovered a new librarian blog called The Shifted Librarian. Jenny locates all kinds of great library-related doohickeys and she found this AL focus video to the annual conference.
The Shifted Librarian also found this great series of ads from the DePauw Library system macking (heh heh) off the PC and Mac ads. I was fond of this one though they seem to be comfortable doing many others.
Legos. Is there anything they can't do? For example, if a fight came down between Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, would it come even close to resembling this?

Normally I don't put book trailers for adults books on this blog, but this one was created for the book "I Was Told There'd Be Cake" (great title, or the greatest title?) by Sloane Crosley. It may be a bit outlandish in terms of promoting a book, but for those of you searching about for cool book trailers or ways to get book trailer inspiration, look no further. You know what? I'm thinking that it might be a good idea if I creating a side blog and all it ever did was collect book trailers for children and teen books. Hm. Worth contemplating anyway.
And to finish, I've saved the best for last. Yes, I present to you a video that makes me just so darn.... happy whenever I see it. You wouldn't think that Debbie Reynolds, of all people, would make me laugh like a fool, but obviously that was before I saw her turn a protest song into a song about, essentially, getting lucky.
