Video Sunday: One Two Three Four, I Declare a Word War

Folks,  it is November.  That means that the tides of NaNoWriMo are upon us.  In respect of this blessed event (which I'm toying with the notion of participating in) I present to you a game you can play that will allow you to satisfy both your writing needs and your desire to stop writing and play competitive games online.  At last!  A competitive online writing game! 

Thanks to Inky Girl for the link, who further points out that, "To participate in this multiplayer, online competitive writing game, you need the Desktop Edition($10) of Write Or Die."  And, naturally, you'll need a partner.  Still, it should work.

Now I was actually going to hold off on posting this next one for a couple of weeks, but due to the incredible busyness this week I find myself bereft of my usual number of great only vids.  Therefore!  Herein!  Whereto!  Suchforth!  We are presenting unto you the craziest darn thing I've seen in a while.  James Kennedy, author of the YA novel The Order of Odd-Fish, was once in a band called Brilliant Pebbles.  This band was... unusual.  And by some strange quirk of fate, they were invited to be on a Mia Park's legendary Chicagogo dance party cable access show.  As children's television goes, you ain't seen nuthin' like this.  Prepare for your brains to exit via your ears and eyes.

Yo Gabba Gabba ain't got nuthin' on this.  James is the one "playing" the fruit.

In other children's programming news, I had long since forgotten this old 1971 Grover-based chestnut of everyone's favorite furry monster visiting the library.  Perhaps it set roots in my tiny brain as a babe, subtly suggesting the path I would one day follow.

Okay.  Some of the less fortunate amongst you have firsthand knowledge of my love of Poker Face by Lady Gaga.  So here is a young lady creating her own version, which I enjoyed very much indeed.  A good post-Halloween vid to close out the day, don't you think?
