Wetpaint Wins: The Mzungu Boy

July 1, 2008 Okay - I'm salivating! I'm also going to throw myself a diss -- here's why. I've been posting about teachers using Wetpaint Logowikis for some time now. Right? I've been touting and touting, wikis make learning fun - think outside the box, etc. Well I finally made myself a wiki and gosh darn it, I am having fun!

Please, if you have a moment, take a look at my wiki - it's a work in progress I
know - but I am so proud of myself. And the best part, it's free and easy..

Now if you recall, last week I wanted to create a lesson plan for Meja Mwangi's, The Mzungu Boy, since no where on the web could I find one. I looked at Filamentality templates, Webquests generators (although this one seems easy to use) and other lesson plan links. Honestly, they were too complicated and too time consuming to learn quickly.

So I must, must, must give shout outs to Troy Morris for introducing me to my new love. Don't get me wrong, I have used wikis in the past, but they were always set-up for me. Never did I embark on creating one myself. Watch out, wiki world @ Wetpaint! Am I the millionth site???
