Nonfiction Mondays

February 1, 2008 In a recent blog post for Nonfiction Monday, Anastasia Suen designated Mondays as Nonfiction Monday. She even created a Facts First! Nonfiction Monday button you can use on your blog. This was in part a reaction to the fact that children’s book review bloggers celebrate Poetry Friday every week by posting about poetry on their blogs, but then many bloggers write about fiction the rest of the week.

I noticed that recently I have been posting about a larger percentage of nonfiction titles because we are so curricularly focused in the elementary school. If you have been wanting to dip your foot into the waters of blogging, how about giving it a try on Monday? Let us know you are participating.
