Gaming: Enchanted Forest and Max
December 13, 2007

A couple for the younger ages. These two elementary games are fun for all ages.

Enchanted Forest
Memorization meets fairy tales in this adaptation of concentration that sends players around the board to learn what is hiding beneath trees. You have to remember where Cinderella’s slipper is when the king asks. Teaches memorization as well as general fairy tale awareness.
Level: Elementary    Players: 2-6    Time: 30 minutes

Max
This cooperative game is almost impossible to complete when players don’t work together. Encourages communication and decision making for primary age students, but also requires some discussion about death and nature as Max chases woodland creatures around the board.
Level: Elementary   Players: 1-8   Time: 10 minutes
