TeacherLibrarianNetwork
April 18, 2007

If you want to get involved in some of this "Web 2.0 stuff" but have been nervous about making a huge leap into unfamiliar territory, there is a new possiblitiy. Joyce Valenza used the new social networking site, Ning, to create the TeacherLibrarianNetwork. This is a great group of people interested in talking about teacher librarian issues, possibilites, and potentials. Like most social networking sites, the Teacher Librarian Network allows you to create a mini-blog, post comments, share photos, and create a group of friends. Unlike other networks, though, this is a group of mostly school librarians - and thus a smaller (safer?) network with which to get started.

Or, even better, we could all join up and make it a larger, more wonderful network!
