Welcome to the inaugural issue of SLJTeen. Since we began to plan this enewsletter back in 2007, we've received nothing but encouragement from school and public librarians that work with 'tweens and young adults.  Then we told them we would be running book reviews written by teens (picured left), and they went nuts. What else can you expect in these virtual pages? Technology tips, interviews, media reviews, and event coverage—all geared to support your focus on providing the best in teen and young adult services. more » » »

TEENS KNOW "BEST": Reviews from Young Adults

  • Band Geek Love. Bloss, Josie. Flux. July 2008. ISBN: 978-0738713588.
Gr 10 and up. This is a cute story, though by no means is it groundbreaking. But what it lacks in originality, it makes up for in a memorable cast of characters that jump off the page.
