  However shocking and controversial the subject matter of this book is, it sucks you in and you can't put it down. It makes you so frustrated with the circumstances Alice is in that you just can't stop reading to find out what happens next. After finishing it, I was haunted by Alice's story and I couldn't stop thinking about it. more » » »

  Mousetraps is a book worth reading because of its realistic characters and events. The reader can really relate to many of the characters and the problems they face. The book is so unlike the typical teenage love stories we all read about. Mousetraps focuses on the people we seldom read about, and problems we rarely see in stories for teens. more » » »

  "You can’t just make a book anymore,” said Mr. Haarsma, a former advertising consultant. Pairing a video game with a novel for young readers, he added, “brings the book into their world, as opposed to going the other way around.”
