  • Sci Fi Showdown: Transformers Returns
    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (PG-13), a live-action sci-fi thriller from DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures, thunders into theaters on June 24. The film’s predecessor was a box-office hit in 2007 and greatly expanded general interest in the Transformers franchise. For the sequel, Michael Bay returns as director, Steven Spielberg as executive producer, and Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman as screenwriters (with the addition of newcomer Ehren Kruger). more » » »

Longest Day Giveway at The Spectacle

2009 IPPY Awards Announced


The Jenkins Groups have announced the winners of the 13th Annual Independent Publishers Book Awards. With 65 national categories and 20 regional categories, there’s a lot to browse through! Here are a few tips: YA winners start at category 23 and graphic novels can be found at 42 and 43. Independent Publishing, the sponsor of the awards, received more than 4,000 entries this year.
