  • ISTE, COSN Urge Tech Funding, Citing Obama Support
    Taking up President Barack Obama’s call for greater investment in technology for classrooms, four education technology organizations are urging Congress to fund grants through the existing Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) program.

    The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), and State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) say that grants issued through the EETT program will be the optimum way to reach Title 1 schools, which are determined by the number of students on free and reduced lunch. more » » »
