2012 Teen Video Challenge—Own the Night
To enter, teens 13 to 18—working individually or as a team—create a 30- to 90-second video that's based on CSLP's 2012 teen slogan, "Own the Night." Each participating CSLP member state will select one winner, who will win $275 and a $150 prize for their local public library. Winners will be announced next spring. For more details, visit www.cslpreads.org. And to find out if your state plans to participate in the "2012 Teen Video Challenge," contact your state's CSLP representative. And if you're curious about past champs, visit CSLP's "2011 Winners Page." CSLP is a grassroots consortium of 50 states, Washington D.C., American Samoa, and the Mariana Islands working together to provide children, teens, and families with summer reading programs and promotional materials for public libraries.
