During the summer, young teens are often at home during the day and, if both parents work, they may be responsible for taking care of things around the house and looking after their siblings. This cool online game replicates what it's like being responsible for chores and younger kids. It will be a snap for teens already used to doing these things, but a real challenge for those who haven't yet been "in charge."
As the introduction to the game explains, "The Big Cheese," aka Mom, is at the office. You're in charge of the house and your little bro. You'll earn points when you act responsibly and lose a few when you don't. See how high you can score before Mom gets home! First, kids need to read the long note mom has left them, which explains all the house rules. They'll need to remember to look in the supply cabinet to find tools to help solve problems, make sure little brother doesn't get into trouble, and order the pizza at the right time. If they score high enough, they'll get to go on to Level 2, where they'll have even more tasks to accomplish.
