To celebrate Women’s History month, BrainPOP is offering more than a dozen kid-friendly, animated movies about pioneering women and their accomplishments.
The site spotlights influential historical women, from Cleopatra to Oprah, who struggled and broke barriers along the way. .
The movies, which support the K-8 curriculum, are broken down into seven categories: arts & music; social studies; math; technology; science, English, and health and are available online free of charge through the end of March.
Topics covered include feminism and women's suffrage. All films feature BrainPOP's orange robot, Moby, and his teen friend, Tim, who guide viewers through this historical exploration. "With their clever writing, vibrant animation, and unique voice, the movies reach children on a whole new level," says a press statement from the company. "BrainPOP is safe, trusted, and ad-free."
