If you think your tots would enjoy a lesson from Curious George or the Berenstain Bears, check out Kids Play!, a new subscription-based educational site from PBS.
The online neighborhood offers a comprehensive early childhood curriculum to kids between the ages of three and six. But unlike other sites, kids learn with the help of their favorite characters like Bob the Builder, Thomas & Friends, and others from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
Using interactive games and activities, the site provides a personalized learning experience at home, at the library—or at any computer with a high-speed Internet connection.
All of the games and activities on the site were designed specifically to meet nationally recognized educational standards and benchmarks, and the curriculum includes essential skill areas in math, science, language, literacy, creativity, health, and social studies.
PBS Kids Play! also provides an easy-to-use progress chart that helps parents see the “big picture” by showing how each child is advancing through the curriculum, including an indicator of how far the child has progressed in each skill area. This information is tailored specifically for each child and includes recommendations for activities to try, based on a child’s skill level.
“We’ve taken a comprehensive approach to children’s learning in order to address the whole child,” says Ben Grimley, senior director of Interactive Businesses at PBS. “By delivering PBS Kids Play! over the Internet, we’re able to continually expand the service, offering a steady stream of new activities to keep children engaged in learning.”
Visit www.pbskidsplay.org to sign up for Kids Play!, which is free for the next few months while it undergoes beta testing. The service requires a computer with Windows XP or Vista operating system, mid-range processing power (Pentium 4 or Dual-Core), and broadband Internet access. PBS is planning to support the Mac OS in a future phase of development. For those without a high-speed connection, PBS will launch a pilot program to offer Kids Play! free through participating PBS stations and selected local libraries with which they partner.

If you want to buy a car, you will have to get the home loans. Furthermore, my mother commonly takes a car loan, which seems to be the most firm.
