VTLS Offering FRBR via Software as a Service

On March 11, VTLS announced a new service to make FRBR records available to library catalogs and interfaces via Software as a Service (SaaS), without requiring any change to an institution's existing bibliographic record set. According to the company, the service will be known as FRBR SaaS and will provide “a hosted database of matching FRBR records, an online public interface designed to match the source database, and hyperlinks to provide seamless navigation between the two.”
