Here are the average book prices for 2020–2021 to date, produced annually by SLJ in partnership with Follett and Baker & Taylor.

The data, based on figures supplied by Follett and Baker & Taylor, shows average list prices for books (children’s titles, young adult books, graphic novels, paperback, and hardcover editions), which have been sold (not published) during the time frames listed.

Separate calculations have been supplied for the school market and the public library market.
